The Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union will host its first meeting in Tallinn on 1-2 June 2017. Informal meeting of the EU State Secretaries and Secretaries-General is usually held as a main rehearsal before the official start of the upcoming Presidency. The purpose of the meeting is to have an informal discussion between European External Action Service and State Secretaries / Secretaries-Generals of the Member States. The Informal Meeting will start with a presentation of the priorities of the Estonian Presidency by H.E. Mr Sven Mikser, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia. Discussion on the Eastern Partnership Initiative will follow. The second working session will provide an opportunity to reflect on digital diplomacy, including cyber security and will conclude with EEAS - Member State Cooperation issues.
