There have been rapid changes in the past five years in the field of international tax, and these changes have affected European tax law. In order to keep track of what has changed and what it means for tax, a number of academics from International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) have been invited to Estonia to provide a fresh and different viewpoint on the issues facing governments around Europe.
The event covers the following topics:
- Where is value or income created for (corporate) income tax purposes?
- What is the relationship between EU anti-avoidance rules and tax treaties?
- When could a tax ruling be considered a form of state aid?
- Taxation of the digital economy
