Informal meeting of justice and home affairs ministers (JHA)

Justice and Home Affairs Council (JHA)

iJHA agenda 7 July

On Thursday 6 July and Friday 7 July, the informal meeting of justice and home affairs ministers will be held at Tallinn Creative Hub (Kultuurikatel).

Over two days, ministers will focus their discussions on the security and safety of Europe, as this is the main concern of people today – more so than any other issue. It is crucial for the European Union to find the right balance between safeguarding people’s rights and freedoms and ensuring their safety.

Livestream videos are available on our videos page and photos of events can be accessed on our photos page or on our Flickr account

Information about the traffic changes related to the meeting is available on the website of the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board.

Accreditation

Journalists can accredit themselves through the presidency website accreditation portal.

After selecting their preferred meetings, they will receive an accreditation confirmation via email, which must be presented with their ID at the accreditation desk in the press centre when collecting their badge.

It is recommended to register for accreditation as soon as possible. The possibilities for last-minute accreditations are limited and could include delays.

Accreditation badges can be collected at the press centre of Tallinn Creative Hub (Kultuurikatel) as of 12.00 on 5 July.
