As part of the eGovernance Solutions Competition, we are introducing the success story of e-Estonia to Europe and prioritising an open, innovative, digital, and inclusive Europe.
Creative Estonia in cooperation with global entrepreneurship competition Creative Business Cup organised a startup competition called eGovernance Solutions to find innovative ideas and solutions for new e-services.
The main keywords of the event – e-Estonian success stories and the startup community – are important cornerstones in elevating Estonia's reputation on the world scale, and overlap with the priorities of the Estonian Presidency – an open, innovative, digital and inclusive Europe. “Estonia is a digital country in the eyes of Europe, a progressive and flexible small country in the name of new solutions. The image of the e-Estonia creates an interest in us and it is on us how we use it to make an interest to investments, jobs and general welfare,” said Kaja Kallas, the European Parliament Ambassador and patron of Creative Business Cup Estonia.
In November, the e-Estonia success story will be presented in Denmark at the global Creative Business Cup event where around 600 startup companies will come together from around the world, along with Estonian startup companies that have strong innovative ideas that support the positive image of Estonia at the international level. In addition, Taavi Rõivas will make a presentation about Estonian e-residency. Also, there will be a party taking place at the Danish Estonian Embassy with Estonian music and food. The patron of the event is Kaja Kallas.
Creative Estonia, a creative culture industries information and development centre, is an official representative of the Creative Business Cup in Estonia. The Creative Business Solutions eGovernance competition is a part of the Creative Business Cup.
