Demultiplexia neurotheatre performance

#eu2017ee #ev100 #Estonia100

What happens when art, technology and neuroscience meet on stage? Can we create something completely new and different from what we expect from theatre now?

NeuroTheatre Collective invites spectators to participate in a unique experience of non-verbal communication led by future cyber-enhanced humans. Their emotions, triggered by their specific personality and expressed in dance improvisation together with brain-computer interface technologies will capture your imagination in Demultiplexia.

For this project, the NeuroTheatre Collective has used the insight and knowledge of different artistic and scientific minds including Aleksander Väljamäe from the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) group at Tallinn University, media artists Juri Didevich and Alberto Novello, Fine5 DanceTheatre, Rene Nõmmik, Tiina Ollesk and Simo Kruusement, the g.tec Brain-Computer Interface company, Kristel Laur from Ikkun Creative Studio, and other international experts.

International premiere: 14 September at 20.00 (it is 30 minutes in duration) in the Studio, Bozar, Brussels as part of the opening of the Bozar Electronic Arts Festival.

BOZAR, Rue Ravensteinstraat 16, 1000 Brussels, Belgium
